Yazar: jsq0713 - Dün, Saat: 03:38 - Forum: Kasap 1 - Yorum Yok

Danks handed a 3-0 lead over to Belisario after his best start of the season. The right-hander yielded a one-out single to Ellsbury, but was in position for his third save when he struck out Mark Teixeira for the second out. Then it all fell apart in a hurry for the closer, who has allowed at least one run in each of his last three outings. Ellsbury took second on fielders indifference and scored on Alfonso Sorianos ground-rule double. Yangervis Solarte singled home Soriano and moved to second when Belisario walked Ichiro Suzuki. Pinch-hitter Brian McCann then completed the comeback with a bloop single into centre field, driving in Solarte with the tying run. Brendan Ryan grounded out to end the inning, and the crowd of 33,413 booed as Belisario made his way to the dugout. "Obviously huge at-bats to get us going," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "We hadnt done much up to that point." Danks allowed three hits, struck out four and walked none. The left-hander was 1-4 with an 8.23 ERA in his previous five starts. Teixeiras ground-rule double in the fourth was New Yorks only hit before John Ryan Murphy and Ryan had consecutive two-out singles in the eighth. But Danks got Brett Gardner to fly out to right to end the inning. Vidal Nuno pitched seven-plus innings for New York in the longest start of the season for the converted reliever. He allowed nine hits, struck out five and walked one. The White Sox did all their damage against Nuno in the first. Eaton and Beckham started the inning with consecutive singles, and Dayan Viciedo then made it 1-0 with a double into the gap in left-centre. Dunn drove in Beckham with a sacrifice fly and Viciedo came home on Alexei Ramirezs groundout. "I was up in the zone the first inning, first half of the lineup and it was just making pitches," Nuno said. "It was a long game, guys came back and it was unbelievable how we came back and kept fighting." NOTES: Coming into the day, Danks was 2-3 with a 7.11 ERA in six career starts against the Yankees. ... Girardi said reliever Shawn Kelley (back) could play catch next week. ... Yankees captain Derek Jeter, who plans to retire after the season, passed former White Sox great Luis Aparicio for second in games played at shortstop with 2,584. ... Yankees RHP Masahiro Tanaka (6-1, 2.39 ERA) takes on White Sox RHP Andre Rienzo (4-0, 4.00 ERA) in the series finale on Sunday. It will be Tanakas first game since he picked up his first major league loss on Tuesday against the Cubs. Chris Kreider and Carl Hagelin also lit the lamp for the Rangers, winners in four straight including all three games in western Canada on a four-game road trip which ends in Carolina on Saturday. Henrik Lundqvist turned in a victorious 29-save effort. Jiri Hudler and Curtis Glencross tallied for the Flames, whose season-high losing streak reached six straight games. Karri Ramo took the loss after yielding four goals on 13 shots in half of regulation time. Jonas Hiller stopped all nine shots he faced for the remainder. I think our focus has to be better. Its at the right place, but some details of our game are being forgotten because we want to do too well, Flames head coach Bob Hartley said. New York led 2-0 after one period thanks to scores from Nash and Kreider. The former lit the lamp at even strength with 11:22 played on an individual rush that ended on a successful shot inside the left post. The latter snapped a long drought with a power-play marker inside of 10 seconds remaining in the frame when he poked a loose puck through Ramos pads after Calgary defenseman Kris Russell failed to move it through the crease. NFL Jerseys From China. . Nash made it 3-0 just after the three-minute mark of the second by converting a Stepan pass off a 2-on-1 short-handed rush. Hes playing so well on both sides of the puck, Kreider said of Nash, who extended his point streak to 11 games and hit the 20-goal mark for the 11th consecutive season. Hes not cheating, and thats what makes his scoring so impressive. Stepans wraparound score from the left post at 11:15 produced a four-goal margin for the visitors and signaled Ramos exit. Hudlers redirection of a Mark Giordano offering put the Flames on the board with 8:04 remaining in the second. Ramo was pulled twice in the final four-plus minutes, and Hagelin put a damper on Calgarys comeback hopes on an empty-net score with 3:01 to go. Glencross converted a Sean Monahan pass on a Flames power play with 1:15 left in regulation to close out the scoring. Game Notes New York beat Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary on one road trip for the first time since all three cities hosted an NHL team beginning in 1980 ... Kreider had not scored since Nov. 8 at Toronto. ' ' '

PORTLAND, Ore. Cheap Nike React Uk . -- With Portland trailing Utah to start the fourth quarter, Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard did what an All-Star is supposed to do. Lillard scored 14 points in the final period and finished with 28 for the short-handed Trail Blazers in a much-needed 102-94 victory over Utah on Friday night. "I definitely feel like theres times I have to assert myself," he said. Lillard grabbed attention last weekend by taking part in a record five All-Star events. Last-seasons Rookie of the Year was a first-time All-Star, earning a spot on the West team by vote of the conferences coaches. The Blazers need Lillard to take over games like he did against the Jazz in the absence of fellow All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge, who sat out with a left groin injury. Robin Lopez had 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Blazers, who avoided a season-high fourth straight loss as they struggle to keep pace in the Western Conference. "When youre going through a tough stretch, its hard to get back on track sometimes," Lillard said. "This win will get us back on track." Enes Kanter matched his career-high with 25 points and added 10 rebounds for the Jazz, who lost their second straight after a three-game winning streak. Utah opened the final quarter with a 73-64 lead, but Portland answered with a 7-0 run to close within 73-71 and went ahead on Lillards 3-pointer with 9:18 left. Energized by regaining the lead, Lillards alley-oop dunk off a dish from Nicolas Batum made it 80-75 with 6:07 left. "Hes always in attack mode," Utahs Trey Burke said of Lillard. Utah kept it close down the stretch, with Richard Jeffersons 3-pointer narrowing the gap to 85-83. Batum answered with a 3-pointer for the Blazers. Kanters jumper got Utah within 94-91 with 1:21 to go, but Mo Williams jumper extended it again for the Blazers, who cruised the rest of the way. Portland outscored the Jazz 38-21 in the final period. "I thought in the fourth quarter we had a nice cushion," Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said. "They just came out right from the beginning of the fourth and got a turnover and made a 3-point shot. We made another mistake and they scored on it, and they ran from there." Portland was playing its second game without Aldridge, who leads the team with 23.9 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. He is expected to sit out Sunday nights game against Minnesota before he is reevaluated. Dorell Wright started in Aldridges place. The Blazers also were without forward Joel Freeland, who has a right knee sprain, and Meyers Leonard, who sprained his left ankle in practice on Monday. Portlands front court got even thinner when Batum, who has been fighting the flu, retreated to the locker room late in the first half. Will Barton started the second half, but Batum returned late in the third quarter. The Jazz were without forward Derrick Favours, who missed his second straight game because of hip issues. Favours is averaging 12.9 points and nine rebounds a game. Kanter started in his place and led both teams with 15 points at the half. The Blazers led by as many as six points in the first quarter, but the Jazz closed in and went ahead 19-18 on Diante Garretts driving layup. Portland reclaimed a 28-25 lead midway through the second quarter on Bartons fast-break 360-degree dunk. Lillards 3-pointer extended the lead to 43-37. Both teams wrestled for the lead through the third quarter, until the Jazz appeared to make a move, going up 62-57 on Trey Burkes deep 3-pointer. It was Utahs biggest lead of the game to that point. Utah extended the lead to 68-60 on Alec Burks layup. NOTES: Blazers coach Terry Stotts wore a plaid sportcoat and an open-collared shirt in honour of Dr. Jack Ramsays 89th birthday. Ramsay coached the Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA title, hence the throwback outfit. "Im not much of a fashionista, but I think he was able to pull it off," Lopez said. ... "I was just able to pick these guys up today," Sabathia said after the win. "I feel like, throughout the course of the year, I havent been able to make pitches and eliminate some of the errors. So I was able to do that tonight and we got the win." New Yorks offense has been paced by Soriano recently. The seven-time All-Star is 15-for-22 with five home runs over his past five games. He hit a pair of singles in four at-bats without driving in a run in Saturdays loss after tying the MLB record held by Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehrig, Jim Bottomley, Tony Lazzeri and Sammy Sosa for the most RBI in a four-game span with 18. Robinson Cano will be looking to bounce back after having an 11-game hitting streak end with an 0-for-4 showing at the plate. Lyle Overbay finished 3-for-4 and scored New Yorks lone run in the loss. Meanwhile, Yankees outfielder Ichiro Suzuki has 3,995 career hits (1,278 in Japan) and will soon join Pete Rose (4,256) and Ty Cobb (4,191) as the only members of the elite 4,000-hit club. We always know we can play with the best of them, but in order to be the best, to be considered one of the top three to five teams in the NFL, youve got to beat the best and we didnt prove that the last two weeks, he said. We tip our hats to those two teams and continue to move on.The Broncos also scored only one touchdown Sunday but got five field goals from Connor Barth. San Diegos Nick Novak made one field goal but had one attempt blocked and had another attempt go off the left upright. The Broncos got inside the Chargers 10 on consecutive drives in the first half but had to settle for field goals each time.If you play red-area defence the way our defence was playing the last couple of game we should win these games, coach Mike McCoy said. But its a team game.McCoy said he believes the Chargers can beat any team in the league. What you have to do against the really good teams is youve got to make the most of every possession, in all phases, and we gave a good team a number of extra opportunities — missed field goals, turnovers, third-down conversions defensively, McCoy said. You give them another opportunity to do what they do and theres a reason why theyre at the top.McCoy confirmed that inside linebacker Donald Butler has a dislocated left elbow and said he was awaiting test results. Omar Rahou made the discriminatory gesture several times while celebrating scoring a goal against Romania at Antwerp in January, UEFA said. The sanction was double the five-match ban Nicolas Anelka received from an English Football Association independent tribunal last week for the same act. The FA is considering appealing to seek a tougher sanction against Anelka, who performed the quenelle after scoring for West Bromwich Albion in a Premier League match in December. The quenelle has been described as an "inverted Nazi salute." It involves pointing one straightened arm downward while touching the shoulder with the opposite hand. Cheap Golden Knights Jerseys Authentic. UEFA said the 21-year-old Rahou can appeal the sanction. UEFA requires a minimum 10-match sanction for racist abuse at matches it organizes after toughening its disciplinary rules last May. The following week, FIFA updated its sanctioning powers and called for minimum five-match suspensions. In the Rahou case, UEFA said one of its disciplinary inspectors "concluded that the gesture has discriminatory connotations." It was popularized by French comedian Dieudonne MBala MBala, who has been convicted multiple times for inciting racial hatred or anti-Semitism. Anelka said his gesture showed support for "anti-system" views and was not discriminatory. ' ' '

LOS ANGELES -- Darryl Sutter doesnt remember his first win as an NHL coach. Benoit Pouliot Jersey . And now that hes gotten his 500th in the regular season, he didnt make anything special out of this one, either. Marian Gaborik got the deciding goal in the shootout and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Washington Capitals 2-1 Thursday night to make Sutter the 18th coach to reach that milestone. "Its a lot," Sutter acknowledged. "Ive been around a long time. Ive gotten a lot in shootouts, though." Sutter, who guided the Kings to their first Stanley Cup title in 2011-12 after Terry Murray was fired less than 2 1/2 months into that season, tied Montreal legend Hector "Toe" Blake on the career list and is fifth among active coaches behind Joel Quenneville, Ken Hitchcock, Lindy Ruff and Barry Trotz. "When Darryl came in two years ago, he did exactly what he needed to do and pressed the right buttons to get the team going -- because at that time we were taking one step forward and two steps back," goalie Jonathan quick said. Quick tied Rogie Vachon for the most career victories by a Kings goaltender and stopped Alex Ovechkin, who leads the league with 46 goals, on the Capitals second shot in the tiebreaker. Quick, who has spent his entire seven-year career with the Kings, is 171-115, with 11 overtime losses and 20 additional defeats that ended in shootouts. Vachon was 171-148 with 66 ties during his six-plus seasons with Los Angeles after he was traded by Montreal, and made all three of his All-Star game appearances during his time with the Kings. "It means a lot, and its special because wins are a team effort -- 20 guys each night contributing to every win," Quick said. "The biggest thing is Ive had the luxury of shootouts and Rogie didnt. If you took away those shootout wins, Id still be behind Rogie, so I guess Im fortunate they implemented that a few years back." Ovechkin is 2 for 15 this season in the tiebreaker and 25 for 83 in his career. "He has a couple of good moves and he was trying to go five-hole there," Quick said. "Maybe it hasnt gone his way this year, but hes had success in the past. So hes always somebody youre preparing for." Quick finished with 21 saves, losing his shutout bid with 7:36 remaining when Joel Ward extended his goal-scoring streak to a career-best four games with his 22nd of the season. The Capitals got a power play in overtime after Kings defenceman Robyn Regehr was sent off for hooking Marcus Johansson at the 53-second mark. But Quick robbed Troy Brouwer on a point-blank shot from the low slot during the ensuing 4-on-3 advantage. Another of Quicks best saves came at 8:10 of the second period, when he stoned ex-teammate Dustin Penner with the heel of his glove at the last instant from the edge of the crease after leaving a bad rebound on Dmitry Orlovs slap shot from the left point. "Their goalie played great, and maybe stole it for them. But they also played a hard-nose physical game, and Im proud of our guys and the way they stood up to it," Washington coach Adam Oates said. "The second half of the game I thought we kind of took it to them. We had a lot of good chances, and I would say we carried the pace a little bit." The Kings, coming off their third consecutive one-goal loss following an eight-game winning streak, opened the scoring at 14:09 of the first period. Gaborik beat defenceman John Carlson to the puck after a long dump-in by Justin Williams and fed it in front to Anze Kopitar, who slid his 22nd goal between Jaroslav Halaks pads. Halak made 27 saves for Washington, after stopping 43 shots Tuesday in a 3-2 win at Anaheim. The eight-year veteran is 4-2-1 with a 2.13 goals-against average in seven starts since the Capitals acquired him in a trade with Buffalo on March 5 -- just five days after the Sabres picked him up in a trade with St. Louis. Captain Dustin Brown returned to the Kings lineup after missing two games because of a lower-body injury. NOTES: Vachon finished his 16-year career with 355 wins, which was fifth all-time when he retired after the 1981-82 season. He has since dropped to 17th place. ... Williams played in his 200th consecutive game, becoming the 13th different player in franchise history to reach that figure -- including Kopitar, who holds the club record with 330. ... The Kings are 14-0 when scoring more than three goals. Tim Horton Jersey . While plenty of statistics illustrate Torontos turnaround in the second year of manager Ryan Nelsens tenure, stopping goals is not one of them. Nick Young scored 17 points for Los Angeles, which lost five of its last seven before trouncing the Pelicans, who beat them handily last week in New Orleans. Jodie Meeks and Xavier Henry scored 15 points apiece for the Lakers, who led by 20 points in the first half before coasting to their 12th win in their last 13 regular-season meetings with New Orleans.TOKYO -- Frank Dancevic wanted to give it his all in Canadas do-or-die singles match against Japans Kei Nishikori at the Davis Cup on Sunday. But unfortunately for the Niagara Falls, Ont., native, a pulled muscle wouldnt allow him to go past the second set. Japan sealed its victory over Canada in the first-round Davis Cup tie after Nishikori downed an ailing Dancevic 6-2, 1-0. Later Sunday, Peter Polansky of Thornhill, Ont., lost to Go Soeda in the fifth match 6-1, 6-4 to increase Japans margin to 4-1. "Kei came out playing really well today and once I pulled a stomach muscle early in the second set there was no way I could stay with him when I could only serve at 20 per cent..." Dancevic said. "Under other circumstances I probably wouldnt have even stepped on the court with the way I was feeling, but this is Davis Cup and I wanted to give it all I had and push to the limit because this situation means a lot to me." Dancevic, ranked 119th in mens singles, held his serve during the first game, but World No. 18 Nishikori went on to break twice and win the next five games to eventually take the set. After being broken to start the second set, Dancevic took a medical timeout and was forced to retire, handing the match and the tie to Japan. Canada will play a World Group playoff in Sepptember in hopes of keeping its spot in the upper echelon of the competition. Pierre Turgeon Jersey. Japan, meanwhile, will face the winner of a tie between the Czech Republic and the Netherlands in the Davis Cup quarter-finals. The Canadian squad was missing its top two singles players at the tournament as both No. 11 Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., and No. 25 Vasek Pospisil of Vancouver were unable to recover from injuries in time to play. Polansky, who lost Canadas first singles match to Nishikori on Friday, replaced Raonic. Dancevic stepped in for Pospisil in the doubles match with Daniel Nestor on Saturday. The Canadian duo, who hadnt played together in three years, lost to Nishikori and Yasutaka Uchiyama 6-3, 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-4. "We just battled with so many things this week and nothing really went our way when it came to injuries," said Canadian team captain Martin Laurendeau. "Its obviously disappointing but you cant blame these guys. They gave their all. "... Frank and Peter stepped in and left everything on the court every time they went out there. With what we accomplished last year (reaching the semifinal) we didnt want to take a step back like this but hopefully everyone gets healthy and has a strong season and we can fight hard to keep our spot in September." He was the league leader in shots on goal percentage at 64 per cent (20 on target in 31 attempts).I was confident we would reach an agreement, coach Frank Klopas said in a statement. Andres did great things in 2014 and we believe he will continue to help this team in the future. The 25-year-old previously played in Brazils first and second divisions as well as with Argentinos Junior and the Argentine under-20 squad. Hitmen goaltender Chris Driedger finished with 30 saves for the shutout.Graham DeLaet starts his first tournament of 2014 this week in San Diego, teeing it up at the Farmers Insurance Open. While hell be dialed in to that tournament on a course he loves, you can forgive him if his eyes glance down the calendar just a bit, towards April. While every stop is important for the Canadian golfer, he is more than just a little excited about his first opportunity to play the Masters. "When I look at the schedule, thats the one thing that stands out," he said just prior to heading out to San Diego. "I feel like I know the course so well already, the breaks on the green and where to hit it. Its my highlight sporting event of the year to watch." DeLaet earned his spot in the field through his stellar 2013 season making it to the Tour Championship as well as finishing inside the top 50 on the Official World Golf Ranking. He even Tweeted out a picture of the official invitation, which now sits framed on a shelf in his living room. DeLaet is planning to head up to Augusta early to get a look at the course and hell have a pretty good tour guide with him. While playing the Shark Shootout in December with Mike Weir, the two Canadians made a plan for a side trip, likely on the Monday of one of the Florida stops. "It wont be hard to make time for that," he said. "Ive been told by a lot of people that my game suits the course, so Im excited to get up there and see it." There are a few stops prior to Augusta of course and DeLaet is hoping he can continue to play as he did for much of 2013, a year that saw him break out and become a bona fide world-class player. It was also a year that left him out of gas at the end, running on fumes as he hit the Christmas break. "It was a good off season," he stated. "I was really burned at the end of last year but now my battery has been recharged and Im ready to get going." The recharging included he and his wife Ruby moving to Phoenix, Ariz., although hell maintain a residence in Boise where hes lived since his school days. He also took in the Winter Classic hockey game in Ann Arbor, Mi., which he described as crazy (he was one of the few fans in attendance at the Leafs-Red Wings game wearing a Calgary Flames sweater). And, as he got closer to returning to play, there was also a lot of practice, trying to find the feel of his almost-pure swing that statistically has him as one of the games best ball-strikers. Thhe off-season was also busy from a sponsorship standpoint as most of his deals expired. Cheap Detroit Tigers Jerseys. He signed a new clothing contract with Puma that will see him don some bright hues, including a regular red and white outfit every Sunday. He followed that by inking a deal with Canadian communications company Shaw, whose logo will appear on his hat and bag. And, despite some very lucrative offers - one reportedly with seven figures before the decimal point - he stayed with Titleist clubs and ball. "He was one of the hottest commodities out there. Everyone wanted him," said one equipment company executive. That, of course, is because they - like just about every Canadian golf fan, sees the great potential in DeLaet. He sees it too and is hoping this will be the year he notches his first victory along with a few other goals. "Im excited," stated the Weyburn, Sask., produce who turns 32 on Wednesday. "I want to try and put myself in that position to get the first win. The Presidents Cup again, staying inside the top 50 in the world and even moving up. Those are all outcome goals. I know that they come with how I play. Ive been working hard, putting in the proper practice and using the Monday, Tuesday Wednesday to take care of what I need to take care of so Im ready on Thursday." His tremendous play, perhaps highlighted by his Presidents Cup appearance, has meant other changes as well. First off, his schedule will be different in 2014. In fact, it already is. He skipped the SONY Open in Hawaii, and event in which hes performed well in the past and loves to attend. And there will be other tournaments that have been on his itinerary that will be squeezed out to make room for all four majors as well as the lucrative no-cut World Golf Championship events. There is a stretch starting with the British Open where hell play eight out of nine weeks, an exhausting but unavoidable itinerary. With the great play has also come a crushing demand on his time. More autograph requests. More sponsor requests. And more media requests. "It comes with the territory," DeLaet said. "As I rise up the rankings, I get more attention. You try to limit it as much as you can but at the same time you know its part of the job and you know that its important to talk to certain people." This week marks the start of what could be a very big year for DeLaet. Hes pumped and ready for it. So is most of Canada. ' ' '

not traditional powers Duke and North Carolina or league newcomer Syracuse -- that stands as the only ACC team still alive in the round of 16. The reasons were all on display against a Memphis team eager to speed up the Cavaliers and score in transition to avoid Virginias stingy set defence. Instead, the Cavaliers checked nearly everything off their to-do list, steadily overpowering the Tigers with confident efficiency. They knocked down open looks. They played tough in the paint to contest Tigers drives. They patiently ran their offence and snatched down every loose rebound when the Tigers missed chances to cut into the deficit. "This is just the way we play," Harris said. "If people are not familiar with watching us, we love to just grind it out. We love the long defensive possessions. We love just making teams work when theyre defending us. Its just kind of what Virginia basketball is all about." There was no sign of the Virginia team that looked out of sorts while falling behind by 10 in the first half against the 16th-seeded Chanticleers. Only the one that put Coastal Carolina away in the final 9 minutes. While Harris led the offensive effort, Virginia also had a 40-28 rebounding advantage while backed by a loud crowd filled with Cavs fans who made the drive one state south for the start of the tournament push. Austin Nichols scored 15 points to lead the Tigers, who shot 41 per cent -- including 3 of 13 from 3-point range -- and scored 17 points fewer than their season average. Leading scorer Joe Jackson, who was averaging 14.3 points, finished with seven on 3-for-6 shooting. "Theyve got to be the best defensive team Ive ever played against in college," Jackson said. "They never lose sight of the basketball, and they just help each other out on every possession. You will never get an easy layup on them." Memphis was looking for its first trip to the round of 16 since 2009, John Caliparis final year as coach before Josh Pastner took over. Senior Geron Johnson promised shortly after the American Athletic Conference tournament that this year would be different and the Tigers would get two NCAA wins. Instead, their season ended on the tournaments opening weekend for the fourth straight year. "Virginia came out, played Virginia basketball: out-toughed us, out-aggressived us," Johnson said. "They made shots. Every time we made a mistake, they capitalized on it with a bucket. Theres no excuses. They beat us fair and square." The Cavaliers completely dictated this meeting with their longtime ACC cohorts, which ended a 61-year association with the league to join the Big Ten at the conclusion of last season. Maryland (7-1) struggled offensively all throughout, shooting just 40 percent and never sustaining any level of comfort against the Cavaliers tight defense. Star freshman Melo Trimble finished with 16 points, but most of that total came from the free throw line. The Cavaliers had it working on both ends in building a lead as large as 12 points in the first half. Virginia shot better than 55 percent over the opening 20 minutes -- with Anderson and Brogdon combining to go 8-of-12 froom the floor -- while holding Maryland to a 7-of-19 field goal rate. Cheap Throwback Jerseys. . Virginia sped out to a 14-4 lead behind its pesky defense, which forced the Terps to miss seven of their first nine shots and caused three early turnovers. It was a 20-10 Cavaliers advantage just over 13 minutes in following back-to-back jumpers from Gill and Darion Atkins. Maryland cut the margin down to five later in the half, but Anderson netted six points during an 11-4 spurt that had the Cavs up 35-23 with 1:40 to go in the stanza. UVa went into the break owning a 37-29 edge. The Cavaliers maintained a double-digit cushion for most of the second half by continuing to keep Maryland out of sync.
