Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork. Cheap Air Jordan 5 .com) - LeVeon Bell ran for the go-ahead touchdown and Ben Roethlisberger hit Martavis Bryant for a 94-yard score during Pittsburghs big fourth quarter in a 42-21 victory over the AFC North- leading Cincinnati Bengals. Bell finished with 26 carries for 185 yards and two TDs, both in the final quarter, when the Steelers (8-5) outscored the Bengals, 25-0. Bell also had a touchdown reception, and Roethlisberger completed 25-of-39 passes for 350 yards and three scores to guide the Steelers to their fifth win in the last seven games. We just know that it is one game at a time, said Roethlisberger. We (know) every week is kind of a playoff week for us. Were going to give it everything we have every week. Andy Dalton finished 21-of-29 for 302 yards and a pair of scores for the Bengals (8-4-1), who had a three-game winning streak broken. A.J. Green caught 11 passes for a career-best 224 yards and a score. With Baltimore (8-5) winning at Miami and Cleveland (7-6) losing at home to Indianapolis Sunday, there is a crush in the division standings. Were a type of team if we turn the ball over we cant get down on ourselves, said Green. We didnt convert on third down. I didnt do a good job on third down. We just gotta get better at that. The schedule is tough for both teams over the final three games. The Bengals play at Cleveland before hosting Denver on a Monday night, then conclude the season in Pittsburgh. The Steelers play at Atlanta then host Kansas City before what could be a giant encounter against the Bengals. Green beat Ike Taylor in coverage for an 81-yard TD reception on the final play of the third quarter to give Cincinnati a 21-17 lead. Bell broke off a 53-yard run, which led to Shaun Suishams 44-yard field goal early in the fourth. Pittsburgh caught a break later in the quarter. Dalton had a poor exchange on a fake handoff and coughed up the football. Arthur Moats pounced on the ball at the Cincinnati 24, and Bell finished the short march with a 13-yard run by fighting off a would-be tackler and stretching the ball over the goal line. Roethlisberger connected with Heath Miller on the 2- point conversion with 11:27 remaining. The Bengals then pinned the Steelers at their own 6 following a punt, but on the next play, Leon Hall was burned in coverage down the right sideline by Bryant for the 94-yard score with 8:31 to play and a 35-21 cushion. Bell broke off left tackle for a 22-yard TD run with 5:09 remaining to cement Clevelands second straight big home loss to a division opponent. They lost 24-3 to Cleveland on Nov. 6 before winning three in a row on the road. The Bengals failed to get a first down following a fake punt during a scoreless first quarter, and the Steelers struck first early in the second. Roethlisberger threw to a wide open Miller on the right side of the end zone for a 1-yard score. The Bengals then covered 80 yards in five plays to tie the score. Dalton connected with Green on a 56-yard bomb over the middle, and two plays later, the signal-caller found Jermaine Gresham from 10 yards out for the TD. William Gay picked off Dalton at the Pittsburgh 10 on Cincinnatis next possession, but Jason Worilds was whistled for illegal use of hands, which negated the play. Dalton made the Steelers pay when he faked a handoff and darted up the middle untouched to the end zone for a 20-yard score with 2:57 left. Suisham connected on a 22-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining to get the Steelers within 14-10 at the half. After the Steelers attained a 1st-and-goal from the 4, Roethlisberger threw three consecutive incomplete passes. A nifty move by Bell led to Pittsburgh grabbing a 17-14 lead with 5:24 left in third. On 3rd-and-6, he ran a pattern over the middle, then escaped the coverage of linebacker Emmanuel Lamur before catching a 10-yard TD pass. Game Notes Pittsburgh has won seven of the last nine meetings ... Dalton was knocked out for a play with 8:15 left in the third when Stephon Tuitt connected with the QBs ribs on a rush up the middle. Dalton walked off the field slowly, and Jason Campbell entered the game. Campbell also played the final two offensive series ... Antonio Brown had nine catches for 117 yards for Pittsburgh, while Bryant had four for 109. Jordan 5 Cheap Real . He spent the next few hours showing how he earned it. Durant had 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-101 on Wednesday night to tie their Western Conference semifinal series at one game apiece. "We wanted to come back and respond," Durant said. "So, I think thats what fueled the team tonight. We just went out there and played extremely well and left it all out there, and came out with a good W." During his emotional MVP acceptance speech on Tuesday, Durant called teammate Russell Westbrook an MVP-calibre player. Westbrook backed up Durants words with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his third triple-double in his past five playoff games. "I think Russ played harder than all of us combined," Clippers guard Chris Paul said. "He was all over the place." Thunder coach Scott Brooks took Durant out of the game with 1:21 remaining, costing him a shot at the triple-double. According to information provided to the Thunder by the Elias Sports Bureau, no pair of teammates has had triple-doubles in the same playoff game. Serge Ibaka and Thabo Sefolosha each scored 14 points for the Thunder, who shot 51 per cent from the field and outrebounded the Clippers 52-36. "It was the perfect storm," Clippers guard Jamal Crawford said. "They did everything they could to win, and they got everything they wanted tonight. That wasnt the Clippers team weve been and Im sure well get back on track." J.J. Redick scored 18 points, Paul had 17 points and 11 assists, and Blake Griffin added 15 points for the Clippers. Los Angeles made 15 of 29 3-pointers in Game 1, but just 9 of 27 in Game 2. The Clippers will host Game 3 Friday in Los Angeles. Durant scored 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting in the first quarter to help the Thunder take a 37-28 lead. Paul, who scored 17 points in the opening quarter of Game 1, went scoreless in the first quarter of Game 2 and watched most of the period from the bench with two fouls as the Thunder took control early. Oklahoma City got an offensive boost from an unlikely source iin the third quarter — Sefolosha, a defensive stopper. Air Jordan 5 Cheap Sale. He hit a mid-range jumper, then dunked after a steal by Westbrook to give the Thunder a 78-66 lead. Sefolosha dunked again, then got a steal that led to a 3-pointer by Westbrook and gave Oklahoma City a 90-73 advantage. Sefolosha, who had averaged just 3.7 points in the playoffs, scored 12 points in the quarter to help the Thunder take a 94-77 lead into the fourth. Clippers coach Doc Rivers said he expected Durant and Westbrook to score, but not Sefolosha. "We can win if they (Durant and Westbrook) both have good offensive games," Rivers said. "What we cant do is then give them that plus everything else. And I thought thats what happened tonight." Westbrook clinched his triple-double with 1:21 remaining when he was credited with an assist after a pass to Sefolosha, who took two dribbles on his drive to the basket. Rivers said the Thunder were the aggressors. "Every single possession, you have to have great focus and you have to be locked in, and today we were not," he said. "I thought it was because of all the clutter today. Were upset at the officials, were upset at everything instead of turning our anger on the opponent and focus. Tonight we just didnt have it." Notes: A power surge took out much of the arenas lighting with 27.2 seconds left in the first half. The coaches agreed to finish out the half with the limited lighting. Yet Norway stunned the pro-Canadian crowd with a redirect goal by Mathis Olimb on a shot that came about after Canada goalie Carey Price misplayed a shoot-in just 22 seconds into the 3rd period, breaking the shutout. PETERSBURG, Fla.PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The PGA Tour rescinded the two-shot penalty given to Justin Rose before his final round Sunday in The Players Championship, changing its mind to say sophisticated TV technology was the only way to determine the violation. Rose was given a reprieve by an addition in January to the "Decisions on the Rules of Golf" that waives a penalty if the slightest movement of a golf ball can only be detected by enhanced technology. It was the first time Decision 18/4 was used. "I didnt know that this new recall was in place," Rose said after closing with a 3-under 69. Rose was penalized after the third round when he addressed a chip shot off the 18th green, and suddenly backed away. Rose said he didnt think the ball had moved from its original position, even after consulting with playing partner Sergio Garcia and seeing a replay on the video board. Only after his round, when he met with officials and watched a third television angle zoom in on the ball, was it clear that it moved ever so slightly. He was penalized under Rule 18-2b -- one shot for the ball moving at address, another for returning it to its original position. His 71 was changed to a 73, and he went left the course seven shots out of the lead. About an hour before he teed off Sunday, he was back to where he was. Because it was too late to adjust the tee times, Rose started his final round more than an hour before the other players on the same score of 7-under 209. Rose was within two shots of the leaders at the turn until three straight bogeys. Rose closed with back-to-back birdies and finished at 10-under 278. "We feel like we did the right thing here," said Mark Russell, vice-president of competition for the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour said in a statement the incident had been reviewed because Decision 18/4 had never been used. "The Rules Committee reopened the incident and focused on how much the use of sophisticated technology played a part in making the original ruling," the statement said. "After that review, it was determined that the only way to confirm whether and how much the ball in fact changed position was to utilize sophisticated technology." Russell said the tour consulted Grant Moir from the Royal & Ancient and Thomas Pagel of the USGA before deciding to apply the new decision. Decision 18/4 waives the penalty if a ball movement is noot "reasonably discernible to the naked eye at the time" and required enhanced technology, such as HDTV. Cheap MLB Jerseys. The example often cited by rules officials is when Peter Hanson had a double-hit that could not be detected except through HD in super slow-motion. One reason cited for penalizing him in the first place was the way Rose backed away from the shot, aware that there might have been movement. Rose maintained he did not think the ball moved until seeing the close-up view that he said was magnified so much "the golf ball looked like a Lego ball." "I was willing to accept the way things played out last night, and under 50 times magnification, you could argue that there was a tiny bit of a roll toward the toe (of the club)," Rose said. "Im talking a hair or a millimeter or a quarter dimple or whatever it might be." Russell did not made clear what triggered their decision to review a ruling that had already been made. He described sophisticated technology as "HD zoomed in." "It was such a slight move that it was not discernible by the naked eye," Russell said. "He didnt know. He knew something happened when he grounded his club and felt like he pressed the grass down. And it came right back. Everything went down and then the grass went down and the ball came back up. He knew something happened, he backed away from that, but it took something really zoomed in that was not seen on regular television to determine if the ball did indeed move. And it did." Rose said it was "interesting" that Decision 18/4 was not mentioned Saturday night as he met with officials. He said he only learned about it through comments he was getting on Twitter, and when he saw the decision, it sounded exactly like what had happened to him. "We have never had this tool before that we could apply," Russell said. "We asked for this and we feel like that this is the first time this has ever been used and we feel like this is exactly why this decision is in there. ... I think he deserved exactly what he received under the rules." Rose said he wasnt going to argue with the officials Saturday night that he would happily go along with whatever they decided. "Im certainly surprised its overturned," he said. "Very rarely is that ever the case. Never, ever the case. Im not sure." ' ' '

FLORHAM PARK, N. John Stockton Jersey .J. -- Mike Goodsons strange stint with the New York Jets is over. The troubled running back was released Wednesday after he failed to show up for the teams mandatory minicamp. General manager John Idzik announced that Goodson, coming off major knee surgery and dealing with legal issues, was let go with a designation of "left squad." "Obviously, its disappointing," Idzik said. "Like we do with all of our players, we gave Mike, we feel in good conscience, every opportunity here with the Jets. Unfortunately, it didnt work out and we made the move, ultimately, that we felt was best for the team." Goodson, who signed with the Jets in March 2013, played in just two games for New York before tearing two knee ligaments last October. He faces weapons charges and up to 10 years in prison after being indicted in November. He was found in a car along with an acquaintance with a handgun and a hollow-point bullet in May 2013. He was also suspended the first four games of last season for violating the NFLs substance abuse policy. "Its unfortunate it never worked out," coach Rex Ryan said. "We wish him the best moving forward." On Tuesday, the start of the teams three-day minicamp, Ryan said he didnt know the reason for Goodsons absence and acknowledged that he hadnt spoken to him and wasnt aware of anyone else in the organization having been in contact with the running back. He reiterated that Wednesday, adding that he hasnt seen or heard from Goodson in two or three months. "Theres no question it concerns me," Ryan said. "Ive tried to reach out to him and havent been able to make contact with him." Idzik wouldnt reveal whether he had been in touch with Goodson to inform him of the teams decision. "Suffice to say, we gave Mike, I think, ample opportunity," Idzik said. Goodsons spot on the roster was tenuous entering minicamp. He was sixth on the depth chart at the running back spot, behind Chris Ivory, Chris Johnson, Bilal Powell, Daryl Richardson and Alex Green. It was also uncertain as to how close Goodson was to returning to the field as he rehabilitated his injury, but the Jets expected him to at least be present since minicamp is mandatory for all players. "This league is all based on showing up on time," owner Woody Johnson said before the team announced the move. "One minute later, youre late. You have to respect that. ... Hes a talented player, but youre no good to the team if youre not here." Goodson was the only player not in attendance for the Jets. As recently as April 30, Idzik said the Jets were assuming Goodson would be on the teams roster this off-season. "I would say, just in general, its an accumulation of things," Idzik said. "These arent knee-jerk decisions that you make." Goodson was Idziks first major free agent signing, giving him a three-year deal for $6.9 million. Idzik would not say whether the Jets would try to recoup some of the signing bonus they gave to Goodson. Goodson, 27, was a fourth-round pick of Carolina in 2009 out of Texas A&M. He played three seasons as a versatile pass-catching back and kick returner with the Panthers before spending the 2012 season with the Oakland Raiders. Grayson Allen Jersey . According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, the Marlins are close to signing the 25-year-old Stanton to a 13-year, $325 million contract. The deal would keep the outfielder with the Marlins through the year 2027. Heyman says the deal would have a no-trade clause and could include an opt-out clause as well. Stanton will become a free agent inn two seasons if Miami doesnt lock him up. Cheap Jazz Jerseys. If the deal ends up coming to fruition, it would be the largest contract in professional sports history, beating Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers and his 10 year, $292 million deal signed last year. EAST RUTHERFORD, N. Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys .J. - Eli Manning participated with the first-team offence Thursday at the New York Giants organized team activity, showing no signs of the ankle surgery he underwent nearly two months ago. "I feel like I can do almost anything football related," said Manning, who took most of the snaps during the workout. "Im not going to take any time off. This is the second day, and I want to see how its responding. There is no swelling, no discomfort, no issues. Im able to go about my business." Manning had ankle surgery in early April after enduring the worst season of his 10-year NFL career. He threw 27 interceptions with just 18 TDs and was sacked a career-high 39 times. The Giants finished 7-9. The ankle bothered Manning for most of the season and knocked him out of the final game against the Washington Redskins, the first time Manning went to the sideline because of an injury in his career. "My goal was always to be back for the OTAs," Manning said. "The doctors said that I needed seven weeks after surgery. They didnt tell me that I wouldnt be ready, but I had it in my mind that I should be ready. After three weeks, I knew I was feeling pretty good." The Giants are installing a new version of the West Coast offence under the guidance of new offensive co-ordinator Ben McAdoo. "It has been a learning experience for me and for everyone, learning the new offence," Manning said. "I like it. Everything about it makes sense. Weve made some good plays over the last two days. Its still the early stages, but I like where were headed." Giants coach Tom Coughlin isnt surprised by Mannings progress. "When he first started, we tried to slow him down," Coughlin said. "But he wants to go. We thought the progress would be slow, but hes so far ahead. There may be a day where hes a little sore, but he hasnt shown it yet. " Manning believes that he made the right decision having the surgery. "It feels a lot better than it did," Manning said. "Its why we went ahead and had the surgery. Theres no discomfort. Im running and doing drills. I dont want to have to worry about the ankle. I thought I might miss some time, but I didnt want to. "After a while, I was able to do certain things without pain. After three weeks, I was able to do about 15 to 20 drops and I felt good. I thought I could be here. I wanted to be smart and not rush it if I wasnt ready. The goal now is not to have any setbacks. Ill continue to monitor it, rehab it. I still have some work to do." Hes not the only Giant player making a comeback from surgery. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul spent the off-season rehabbing a shoulder injury after back surgery last June. Having lost 20 pounds down to 275, Pierre-Paul feels fit and ready to return to his All-Pro status. "I feel great," said Pierre-Paul, who had only two sacks in 11 games last season. "Nothing is bothering me. Its all behind me. I know I wasnt at 100 per cent last year. Its a new season, a team with a lot of new faces. Im ready to go out there and show everyone what I can do." Running back David Wilson had neck surgery after the first-round pick out of West Virginia played five games in 2013, collecting only 146 yards. Doctors said at the time that his surgery was possibly career-threatening. "The doctors are worried about me bumping into someone or falling down," said Wilson, who is still prohibited from enduring any contact until his next MRI on Wednesday. "I feel great, but its out of my hands. I just have to rest." Wilson participated in some light drills Thursday. "Hes out there running and hes looking good," Coughlin said of Wilson. Safety Stevie Brown, who had left knee surgery last fall after tearing it in preseason, wore no brace. "One of the first things I did when I first started rehab was not having to rely on any brace," said Brown, who was second in the NFL in interceptions with eight in 2012, before missing all of last season. "I did things slowly without a brace." Wholesale Adidas Hockey Jerseys . With their coach gone, they finally played offence the way he would have wanted. HOUSTON -- Tyler Skaggss Angels debut could not have gone much better. NHL Jerseys China . The left-hander threw eight strong innings and Josh Hamilton hit a two-run home run as the Los Angeles Angels beat the Houston Astros 5-1 on Saturday night. Skaggs (1-0) allowed one run - none earned - on four hits with five strikeouts. Skaggs was acquired in the off-season from Arizona in a trade that sent outfielder Mark Trumbo to the Diamondbacks. "I was excited for my first game with the Angels," Skaggs said. "I have pitched in the big leagues before. I took that mindset that I have been here before. The team needs to get in the win column again. A lot of different things to stay relaxed out there." Skaggs became one of just 13 pitchers in Angels history to go at least eight innings while allowing no earned runs in first start for the team and the first since Shawn Broskie on May 1, 1995, at Toronto. Skaggs, who posted a 2-3 record with 5.12 ERA with the Diamondbacks last year, said he threw a two-seam fastball Saturday night - a pitch he had not thrown in spring training. "The thing is that I havent thrown the two-seamer at all, and today, I broke it out," Skaggs said. "I threw it 90 per cent of the time. Thats why you saw all those 90-91 instead of 93-94. They kept swinging at it, so why not continue to throw it and get outs early in the count?" Skaggs said the changeup and curveball were also good and everything was clicking. Angels manager Mike Scioscia said all of Skaggs pitches were working but it started with his ability to command the fastball. "He had a great two-seamer going and once he was able to get that into spots everything else opened up for him." Scioscia said. "He threw some terrific change-ups, some really good curveballs. Theyve got some right-handed hitters that are really strong hitters and youve got to make some pitches to them. He did and got through it well." Hamilton followed David Freeses run-scoring single with his second homer in as many days, extending the lead to 4-1 in the fifth off Dallas Keuchel. Hamilton had three hits and is now hitting .352 against the Astros with 16 home runs and 41 RBI. "I dont think its necessarily the team," Hamilton said. "I love playing at this park. Before it was a rivalry thing - Texas and Houston. Maybe that helped a little bit. I cant pinpoint one thing." Keuchel (0-1) allowed four runs on eight hits with five strikeouts over five innings. "If youre not on your A-game every pitch, thats what happens," Keuchel said. "I think that kind of took the wind out of our sails in the fifth." Kole Calhoun extended the lead to 5-1 on a run-scoring single in the eighth off Chad Qualls. Houston, which dropped its third straight, opened a 1-0 lead as Jose Altuve scored on an error by third baseman John McDonald in the first, but that lead quickly vanished as Howie Kendrick knotted the score at one with a run-scoring double in the second. Houston manager Bo Porter said the Astros need to get things going offensively after being outscored 16-2 in the first two games of the series. "He really had his breaking ball going, but at the same time, I think we helped him a little bit by expanding our strike zone," Porter said of Skaggs. "He took advantage of it. Offensively, definitely need to get things going and score some runs." Notes: Houston outfielder Dexter Fowler missed his second straight game Saturday after spending Friday night at Methodist Hospital due to a stomach virus. He was released from the hospital Saturday night and could play Sunday, Porter said postgame. . Astros catcher Jason Castro was out of the lineup for the second consecutive game Saturday with a bruised right foot. . Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt signed one-day contracts before the game and officially retired as Astros. . The Astros outrighted right-handed pitcher Chia-Jen Lo off the 40-man roster. He cleared waivers Saturday and will remain with Triple A Oklahoma City. . Houston will send right-handed pitcher Scott Feldman (0-1) to the mound Sunday as the Angels will counter with right-hander Jered Weaver (0-1). Wholesale NHL Jerseys .   I feel for them

So, yeah, I know how it feels on their side. The Mavs? Well, that was just their sixth loss in 30 games to begin the season. Dont worry about them, though. They would be just fine. They went on to win the championship that year, with Dwane Casey behind the bench as an assistant coach. Despite a misleading final score, this Raptors team narrowly escaped what would have been a similarly embarrassing defeat. Down in numbers and in star power, the Oklahoma City Thunder - or whatever was left of them - came in with eight active bodies, also playing in the second night of a back-to-back. They left with seven, and that might be generous. Still, for roughly three quarters of what both sides called an ugly affair, they had Toronto running in quicksand. Thats not going to get it done, said Casey following a shaky defensive effort in his teams 100-88 victory. Ive told them until my eyes turn red. Theyve had that speech a lot and until it sinks in, its going to be a roller coaster. Until we decide collectively to do it, its going to be the same old song over and over again. Coming off their first defeat of the campaign, Caseys club vowed to get off to a quicker start against a hurting, albeit scrappy opponent. Instead, the Thunder hit eight of their nine attempts and shot 71 per cent in a 30-point first quarter. It wasnt until late in the third, early in the fourth quarter that the home team turned up the heat, or - just as likely - Oklahoma City ran out of gas. Any positives to take from the night? No, I dont think so, Kyle Lowry responded. A win, said DeRozan, his teams leading scorer with 16. Thats about it. A win. Honestly. They hit a lot of open shots. We let them shoot a high percentage in the first half and we had to fight back and get in. Weve just got to learn from it. We cant keep digging ourselves a hole and expect to fight back and everything to fall in our hands. So thats one thing we definitely have to take from it. It was the second straight game in which the Raptors gave up 30 or more points in the opening frame, doing so in a losing effort to the Heat on Sunday. Toronto needed a 27-18 fourth-quarter run to put the game away. It should have been easier. It should be [that] you want to play, Casey said. You want to run em, keep the tempo up, not let a zone they put in last week slow you down and go in and attack and play and have fun. The Thunder, now 1-4 on the year, were missing half their team comingg in, most notably the NBAs reigning MVP Kevin Durant (right foot Jones fracture) and All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook (metacarpal fracture on right hand), both out for the foreseeable future. Air Max 90 Australia Sale. Early in the third quarter they lost leading scorer Perry Jones to a knee injury, lowering their count of warm bodies to seven. Moments later starting point guard Reggie Jackson took himself out of the game with what appeared to be a leg ailment - he was also favouring his right hand earlier in the game. Although Jackson would return, Sebastian Telfair took his place on the bench after getting ejected for a flagrant foul in the fourth. Serge Ibaka, 11-for-14 with 25 points on the night, played most of the final quarter with five fouls. The injury bug found Toronto too. Must be contagious. Jonas Valanciunas was taken to the locker room late in the first half after Telfair inadvertently hit him in the nose. It was the centres second visit of the night - he had X-rays on a banged up right hand earlier. Already missing Amir Johnson, out for the second straight game with a sore left ankle, the Raptors had to navigate through the second half without either of their starting bigs. You find a way to win, thats the bottom line, said Casey, who warned against the undermanned Thunder after morning shoot-around. Those are the most dangerous games. You look back in March and April and say, how did we drop that one? You have to take care of those games. OKC has been dealt a bad hand to begin the campaign. The bigger they are, they harder they fall. The Thunder have been at the top of the NBA for so long its reasonable to forget that they - like the Raptors, or any team for that matter - started from nothing. Since going 23-59 (.280) in 2008-09, their first season in Oklahoma City, they own a record of 271-123 (.688), qualifying for the Western Conference Semifinals in four of five years, Conference Finals in three. In that time, the remarkably durable Durant missed just six games. Up until last season, Russell Westbrook had a perfect attendance record. As a team, they lost just 29 man-games to injury in 2012-13, their 60-win campaign. By Tuesday night, they had already lost 32 in just five contests to begin the new season. And that number should balloon in a hurry. There are a lot of challenges when you only have eight players but its a challenge we have embraced, Thunder coach Scott Brooks said before the game. There are no other options. You either step up to the challenge or go home and we have always had a mentality that you compete for one another, make no excuses while youre doing it. Its not the ideal situation but its the situation we are in right now. I feel for them, but thats part of the NBA, said Casey. Next man up. Its just like us with Amir [Johnson]. Next man up. Its an opportunity. You hate to see a teammate go down but its an opportunity for the next guy to step in and play. Injuries are part of the NBA. Injuries like they have are unusual but thats why you have that many players. Johnson will not make the trip to Boston, thus missing Wednesdays game, his third straight. Scans on Valanciunas nose came back clean. Hell accompany the team and is considered questionable against the Celtics. ' ' '

TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays wont have their usual closer available for the start of the regular season. Cheap Blazers Jerseys . Casey Janssen was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday due to a strain in his left abdominal area and lower back. Fellow right-hander Sergio Santos will take over the closers role while Janssen is out of the lineup. Janssen, 4-1 with 34 saves and a 2.56 earned-run average last year, was limited at spring training because of shoulder soreness. But on Friday, he felt some minor discomfort in his lower back while warming up during a pre-season game against the New York Mets in Montreal. An MRI exam revealed a mild strain, general manager Alex Anthopoulos said Sunday on a conference call. "We dont expect him to be out too long," Anthopoulos said. "There was a scenario where we could have just waited maybe five or six days and try to get him back going. But we want to just have this thing resolved and not nag at him." The move was retroactive to Saturday. Janssen, 32, allowed one earned run and four hits in three innings over three pre-season appearances. Hes expected to throw on flat ground to keep his arm in shape before trying to pitch from a mound. The Blue Jays also recalled catcher Erik Kratz from triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, a day ahead of Torontos season opener at Tampa Bay. Kratz hit .400 in spring training and had been sent to minor-league camp earlier in the week after losing the backup job to Josh Thole. Santos, 30, made 29 appearances for the Blue Jays last season. He was 1-1 with one save and a 1.75 ERA. Also Sunday, former reliever Dustin McGowan pitched a simulated game and Anthopoulos said it appears hell be ready to start Friday against the New York Yankees. "Hes done so well," Anthopoulos said. "We dont expect any changes at all. So far, so good. He felt good, felt strong, and we expect him to be good to go for Opening Day in Toronto." McGowan, 32, was named to the starting rotation earlier in the week. The right-hander made his debut with the Blue Jays in 2005 but has battled injuries throughout his career. McGowan had a 2.45 ERA in 25 appearances last season and did not record a decision or a save. Seth Curry Jersey . Lawrence and Swiegers are four-time Canadian bronze medalists (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014). In 2010 they won their first international medal, a bronze at Skate Canada International. That same season they also won the bronze medal at the 2011 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. They then went on to place 12th at the 2014 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Japan. It was amazing to fulfill our dream of competing at the Olympics and world championships and I have never been happier than I was while skating those programs," said Lawrence. I am so grateful!" Lawrence is looking to find a new partner and continue skating but is keeping an open mind to whatever life may throw her way. "Im so glad to have had the opportunity to skate with Paige and represent Saskatchewan nationally and internationally. One of my greatest joys is that weve been able to succeed and achieve our goals while staying true to our small town roots; proving that you dont need to move away to large centers to train," said Swiegers. "Id like to personally thank Patricia Hole and Lyndon Johnston for everything they have done for me, untold hours on and off the ice. Their dedication to me as a person and an athlete has been paramount in making me the man I am today." Swiegers finished, "I am truly grateful for all the sport has given me. This isnt goodbye for me but rather see you later!" Swiegers is taking a year off from competitive skating for personal reasons. ' ' '
